Passengers taking LRT-1 (Roosevelt-Baclaran) can now purchase their single-journey tickets using Maya, a digital banking app.
Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), the operator of LRT-1, and Maya, have started implementing the LRT-1 QR Ticketing system. Through LRMC’s ikotMNL app, commuters can scan the generated QR ticket at the dedicated QR terminals located at all LRT-1 Stations.
Passengers can also buy tickets from the Maya app in the Services section under the Lifestyle category.

Providing more cashless payment options
Through Maya Business, Maya enables the ikotMNL app to accept digital payments from Maya, other e-wallets, banks, credit, debit, prepaid cards, and soon, QR PH. QR tickets generated are valid for 24 hours from the date of purchase and can be used at all LRT-1 stations from Baclaran to Roosevelt and vice versa.
“Through this initiative, we are empowering our LRT-1 passengers with more options so that they can commute more conveniently,” said Juan F. Alfonso, president and CEO of LRMC. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to improve the commuter experience and make rail an attractive, affordable, and sustainable transport solution.”
