Maya enables Filipinos to invest with Maya Stocks

Maya, a digital bank App, has introduced Maya Stocks, enabling all Filipinos to venture into investments in the stock market.

Integrated within the app, Maya Stocks allows users to invest in over 280 companies listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) through real-time transactions. The app, known for its comprehensive financial services like savings, borrowing, insurance, and crypto trading, now extends its offerings to include hassle-free stock trading.

By partnering with (Securities and Exchange Commission) SEC-licensed brokers like Philstocks and soon 2TradeAsia, DragonFi, and Seedbox, Maya enables users to buy, sell, and manage shares conveniently from anywhere.

Investment made easy

Addressing the low investment rates among Filipinos, Maya aims to overcome barriers by streamlining the investment process. Unlike traditional platforms with delays, Maya ensures real-time cash-ins and withdrawals from stocks, enabling instant investment management. Earnings can be reinvested in various wealth-building services within the app or used for daily financial needs, while frequent transactions boost users’ digital footprint, potentially unlocking access to credit.

The launch, celebrated with a symbolic partnership ceremony involving Maya, SEC, PSE, and their stockbroker partners, underscores the commitment to democratizing investment opportunities.

Anticipating increased digital engagement, Baidwan expects Maya Stocks to deepen digital adoption, particularly among bank customers, transforming the investment landscape in the Philippines.

This move aligns with Maya’s broader vision of providing accessible wealth-building tools for Filipinos, exemplified by features like Maya Funds and Maya Crypto, which cater to investments starting at low amounts.
