Mercusys has introduced two new smart cameras in the Philippines, the MC210 Indoor Camera and the MC500 Outdoor Camera, to provide affordable home and business security.
The MC210 is designed for households, renters, and pet owners. It records at 30 frames per second and features a 3-megapixel (2K) resolution for clearer video. Parents can use its smart alerts to monitor children, while pet owners can rely on its wide coverage to check on their animals. Night vision enables visibility of up to 40 feet in low-light conditions.
The camera connects through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is controlled using the Mercusys app. It also includes two-way audio for communication with visitors or delivery riders. Users can save footage on a microSD card of up to 512GB or through optional cloud storage.
The MC500 outdoor camera, set to be released soon, offers 1080p full HD video and color night vision. Its IP65 weatherproof design is built for outdoor monitoring of entrances, parking areas, and delivery zones. It also features AI-powered person and motion detection to recognize activity in real time.
Both models are available online, with the MC210 priced at ₱999 and the MC500 at ₱1,199.
