Xiaomi has introduced two new smart home security cameras in the Philippines, the Xiaomi CW500 Smart Outdoor Camera Dual and the Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Dual, designed to provide dual-lens monitoring and smart detection features for home and small business use.
The CW500 is built for outdoor surveillance. It combines a fixed-angle lens with a Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera, allowing users to view two angles at once via the Mi Home App. The device supports 2.5K resolution, features a wide f/1.6 aperture for clear detail, and uses four smart white lights for full-color night vision. It can pan horizontally and tilt 95 degrees vertically.
The CW500 also includes real-time alerts for human or vehicle detection, automatic video recording, and supports two-way audio with a microphone and speaker capable of communication up to 10 meters. Its IP66 rating ensures the camera can withstand rain and other outdoor conditions.
The C500, intended for indoor use, offers a 110-degree wide-angle view alongside a PTZ lens with a 58-degree field of view. It uses AI to track movement and offers split-screen video feeds. Features include pet and baby detection, infrared night vision, and virtual fence alerts. The C500 can be mounted upright or upside-down and adjusted via the app.

Both models support dual-band Wi-Fi 6 for faster, more stable connections and can be controlled using voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa. Users can also engage in two-way voice calls through the app.
The CW500 is priced at ₱3,479, while the C500 is available for ₱3,169. Both are now on sale on Xiaomi’s official Shopee and Lazada stores and can be set up in three steps using the Xiaomi Home App.
