Metrobank will extend branch banking hours and open selected branches on Saturdays during the holiday season, as customers prepare for year-end expenses, send money to family members, and complete transactions before the new year.
The bank said several branches will operate beyond regular schedules to make in-branch banking more accessible during the busy period. Some locations will open on Saturdays, while others will close later on weekdays as part of the holiday arrangement.
Metrobank will extend banking hours by one hour, until 5 p.m., for selected branches in Metro Manila. While selected branches in Metro Manila, South Luzon, and North Luzon will be open until early afternoon on Saturdays.
“With the holidays being one of the busiest times for many Filipinos, we want to ensure that our clients can complete their banking transactions with comfort and ease,” Metrobank said in a statement. “By extending our branch operations, we aim to give our customers more flexibility at a time when they need it the most.”
Aside from branch services, the bank said its digital platforms, including the Metrobank Mobile App and Metrobank Online, remain available 24/7 for fund transfers, bill payments, and other financial transactions.
