Microsoft has rolled out its Copilot Fall Release, which introduces 12 new features to make artificial intelligence (AI) more personal, collaborative, and easier to use in daily work.

The latest version of Copilot includes tools focused on personalization, teamwork, and learning. The following changes are as follows:

  • Memory and Personalization: Allows Copilot to remember user preferences and previous activities.
  • Groups: Lets up to 32 people collaborate in real time.
  • Imagine: A workspace for creating and editing AI-generated content.
  • Mico: A visual avatar that gives expressive feedback during voice interactions.
  • Real Talk: Enables more natural conversations and encourages users to think critically.
  • Connectors: Links Copilot with Gmail, Google Drive, Outlook, and other services.
  • Proactive Actions: Suggests tasks or follow-ups based on what users recently worked on.
  • Copilot for Health: Provides reliable medical information and helps locate healthcare providers.
  • Learn Live: Offers interactive tutoring using voice and visuals.
  • Copilot Mode in Edge: Summarizes open tabs and responds to voice commands while browsing.
  • Copilot on Windows: Integrates voice and visual assistance within the operating system.
  • Copilot Pages and Search: Combines note-taking, search, and workspace features in one place.

Microsoft said the release supports its ongoing strategy to integrate advanced AI models across its platforms. Recent models such as MAI-Voice-1, MAI-1-Preview, and MAI-Vision-1 have been developed or refined to power Copilot’s new capabilities.

According to Microsoft, these updates are part of its plan to make AI experiences more adaptable and human-centered, allowing users to interact with technology in ways that better fit their needs and workflows.
