Mini PC maker Minix has launched a new generation of MINI PCs built around artificial intelligence (AI) computing, business use, and entry-level tasks.
The new lineup is led by systems powered by AMD AI Max+ and Intel Core Ultra processors. The company said Wi-Fi 7 is now standard across the range. The products are grouped into three segments: high-performance AI, mainstream commercial, and lightweight entry-level.
The company said the mini PC market is shifting as users demand more specialized performance in smaller, space-saving designs. Based on the latest specifications, Minix has aligned its products into three categories: extreme AI computing workstations, high-performance AI mainstream commercial systems, and energy-efficient lightweight models. Each category uses different processor, memory, and networking configurations to match specific user needs.
This segment targets professionals who need strong AI inference, fast data transfer, and heavy computing power. Key models include the Minix ER939-AI Pro and the Minix EU736-AI.
The Minix EU736-AI delivers up to 180 tera operations per second (TOPS) of AI computing power. It includes an Oculink PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, which allows users to connect external graphics cards or high-speed storage.
The Minix ER939-AI Pro supports up to 128 GB of memory and features dual 10G network ports. The configuration is designed for data-intensive workloads and high-speed networking.
This category is built around the Intel Core Ultra series and is aimed at business users and content creators. The representative model is the Minix EU928-AI.
The Minix EU928-AI provides nearly 100 TOPS of AI computing power. It uses SO-DIMM memory slots, allowing users to upgrade RAM as needed. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 for faster connectivity and expansion with external devices.
The entry-level segment focuses on compact size and power efficiency. These systems are intended for basic office work, home entertainment, and digital signage.
Models in this category include the Minix NR660 LP, Minix NUC300, and Minix NEO Z95. The company said these units are already available for purchase.
