mWell highlights digital tools for self-care with launch of ‘I Am Well’ anthem

mWell, a fully integrated health and wellness app, is showcasing the role of technology in self-care and preventive health through its new initiative, anchored by the launch of the “I Am Well” anthem performed by celebrated Filipino singer Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

The anthem, produced with award-winning composer Jonathan Manalo, complements mWell’s digital platform that provides Filipinos with access to medical and wellness services on demand. The app integrates teleconsultations, fitness and nutrition tracking, mental health tools, and wearable technology to help users actively monitor and improve their well-being.

“Our purpose is to provide Filipinos with meaningful access to better health,” said Manuel V. Pangilinan, chair of mWell and Metro Pacific Investments Corp. “Health shouldn’t be a privilege. Each Filipino deserves a stable foundation to build better lives.”

“Through music, storytelling, and technology, we’re walking with every Filipino on their journey to better health,” said Chaye Cabal-Revilla, president and CEO of mWell.

The mWell app offers 24/7 consultations with doctors and specialists, e-prescriptions, medicine delivery, and digital health scores that track physical activity and emotional well-being. Its wearables, including affordable smartwatches and rings, allow users to monitor sleep, heart rate, and oxygen levels in real time.

To extend its reach, mWell also deploys technology in underserved communities. In Talim Island and Sulu, it partnered with the Philippine Coast Guard and the Department of Information and Communications Technology to deliver remote teleconsultations and basic services through boats and mobile clinics.

Velasquez-Alcasid, who lends her voice to the anthem and advocacy, said, “Our health is our most important investment. Mind and body must be in sync for us to be truly well.”
