Oppo will launch its Reno14 Series 5G smartphones in the Philippines on Aug. 8, bringing new AI camera tools, improved low-light features, and water-resistant video capabilities.
The lineup includes the Oppo Reno14 Pro 5G, Reno14 5G, and Reno14 F 5G, each designed to support content creation in different conditions. The devices feature enhanced camera systems powered by artificial intelligence, including AI Perfect Shot, which corrects closed eyes and facial imperfections, and AI Recompose, which automatically adjusts framing for better composition.
Oppo said the Reno14 Series offers improved nighttime photography through an Ultra-Clear Low-Light Camera System and a new Triple Flash System for the Pro and standard models. These flashes are designed to give soft, natural lighting even in dark settings. The Reno14 F 5G features dual flash for close-range shots.
The phones also support 4K underwater video recording, with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings that allow use up to two meters deep for up to 30 minutes. Oppo said this makes the Reno14 Series the most water-ready phones in the Reno line so far.
For zoom and detail, the Reno14 Pro and Reno14 5G come with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom. All three phones are also equipped with chipsets for different needs: MediaTek Dimensity 8450 for the Pro model, Dimensity 8350 for the standard version, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 for the F model.
To support mobile gaming and stable connectivity, the Reno14 Series includes AI HyperBoost 2.0 for smoother gameplay and AI LinkBoost 3.0 for better signal in crowded or fast-moving environments.
Oppo said the new series aims to help users capture everyday moments more clearly and creatively using AI.
