PLDT Enterprise, the corporate arm of the telecommunications and digital services provider PLDT Inc. (PLDT), has renewed its partnership with MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MSU-IIT NMPC) to support the cooperative’s ongoing digital transformation across Mindanao.

The collaboration, which started in the early 2000s with basic communication lines, now covers a wide range of digital services. These include fixed and wireless internet connections, cloud-based tools, and customized mobile plans that serve all 22 MSU-IIT NMPC branches.

“As one of the largest and most respected cooperatives in Mindanao, MSU-IIT NMPC has always championed member-focused services,” said Roberto Suzon, business head of Customer Relationship Business for North Mindanao at PLDT Enterprise. “We are honored to help enable their growth journey by equipping them with reliable connectivity and digital tools that improve efficiency and support their mission of sustainable service delivery.”

Under the latest partnership, MSU-IIT NMPC uses Enterprise Broadband for its head office and provincial branches. To improve coordination, Smart Postpaid plans were also rolled out across its network. Also, the cooperative adopted Google Workspace through ePLDT to manage emails, teamwork, and other tasks in one secure system.

Having better internal systems in place

This setup helps the cooperative carry out its goal of delivering services in a sustainable and convenient way. With better internal systems, MSU-IIT NMPC can focus on offering more support to the communities it serves.

“Our cooperative has grown because of our commitment to members, and this means always finding better ways to serve them,” said Albert Teaño, JD, CEO of MSU-IIT NMPC. “By partnering with PLDT Enterprise, we are future-proofing our systems and building a foundation of digital excellence that supports our goals for long-term, inclusive progress.”

MSU-IIT NMPC started in 1979 and now serves over 70,000 members across the region.
