PLDT Home reported revenues of ₱30.4 billion in the first half of 2025, up 4% year-on-year, as it continued to expand its fiber business.
Fiber-only revenues increased 7% to ₱29.5 billion, now accounting for 97% of Home revenues as the company moves further away from legacy technologies.
“Our growth reflects the increasing demand for high-speed connectivity and value-rich digital experiences,” said John Palanca, SVP and head of PLDT Home Business. “We’re expanding our fiber footprint while delivering bundled services that meet evolving customer needs.”
PLDT Home added 169,000 new fiber subscribers in the first half, tripling last year’s net additions and bringing its total connections to 3.53 million. The company said most new subscribers in the second quarter chose plans priced at ₱1,299 and above.
The telco also cited customer service improvements such as faster installations, AI-powered support, and shorter repair times, which it said helped keep churn at 1.93%.
Aside from postpaid plans, PLDT Home is expanding its prepaid offering through Fiber Prepaid, which it said is gaining traction among households seeking more flexible options. Palanca said the service is being rolled out gradually and is generating incremental growth without reducing postpaid subscriptions.
