PLDT Home is offering its Fiber plan subscribers a chance to upgrade their internet speeds to up to 1 Gbps for an additional P500 per month. The limited-time offer is available until Jan. 31, 2025, for customers on Fiber Plans 1699 and higher.
The upgrade allows households to enjoy faster connections, which are suitable for multiple users and smart home devices requiring high bandwidth. With gigabit speeds, users can experience up to 10 times faster connectivity than the average 100 Mbps plans, ensuring reliable performance for streaming, gaming, and remote work.
PLDT Home introduced the country’s first 1 Gbps fiber-to-the-home broadband service in 2013. Early in 2024, the company launched gigabit fiber plans offering speeds of up to 10 Gbps, placing the Philippines alongside countries like South Korea, Japan, and the United States that offer such high-speed internet services.
