PLDT Home’s Always On is a hybrid modem that combines fiber and LTE backup to help households maintain internet access even during service interruptions.
The device automatically switches to LTE when fiber service is disrupted and returns to fiber once it is restored. Users do not need to reset or reconfigure the modem.

The modem also has a proactive care feature that detects fiber issues and automatically creates a repair ticket, starting the resolution process without requiring customers to report the problem.
PLDT Home said the Always On modem is part of its effort to provide reliable and responsive internet services to Filipino households.
