Digital services provider PLDT provided the telecommunication requirements of the One Hospital Command Center (OHCC) located in Makati City.
The company installed high-speed internet and communication tools such as 15 landlines and 20 units of PLDT Landline Plus for unlimited calls. To date, PLDT and its wireless subsidiary Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) have equipped over 100 hospitals and quarantine sites through WiFi installations and other technical support.
“We at PLDT have made it our priority to support the government in their initiatives to combat the effects of the pandemic. We are truly grateful for the government’s trust and we remain keen on enabling them the best way we can,” said Jovy Hernandez, ePLDT President & CEO and SVP & Head for PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups.
