Power Mac Center (PMC), a premier Apple partner, is launching a series of free workshops titled “Masterclass. Create like a Pro.” These sessions are aimed at helping Mac and iPad users, particularly students and aspiring artists, enhance their skills with their devices.
The workshops will take place from October to December, both in-person at selected PMC stores and online. Each workshop has limited slots to ensure an engaging experience for all participants.
“We want to help our customers discover their potential through the insights of our guest speakers,” said Joey Alvarez, director for Marketing and Product Management at PMC.
The first session, “Imagine on iPad,” will be held on Oct. 26 at PMC SM City North Edsa Annex, featuring illustrator Jethro Olba and content creator Laureen Uy. The following session, “Mac & Me,” is scheduled for Nov. 16 at PMC TriNoma with content creator Janina Vela and director Samantha Lee. The final session will again focus on “Imagine on iPad” on Dec. 7 at PMC Power Plant Mall, showcasing singer-songwriter Noah Raquel and visual artist Jer Dee.
Registration is free, but attendees must sign up on a first-come, first-served basis. Each in-person class can accommodate 15 to 20 students, while virtual sessions can host up to 30 participants. Attendees are encouraged to bring their devices and set aside time from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the sessions.
Four lucky attendees at each workshop will win P5,000 in Power Mac Center Gift Certificates. Participants will also receive a promo for P1,000 store credit on purchases of any Mac or iPad model.
