“Basecamp blends digital and non-digital skills, offering valuable educational experiences for kids and teens during their school break,” said Maleng Raysag, head of Basecamp.
Raysag also noted that workshop participants can explore coding, create digital art, or hone their painting and drawing techniques. The workshops hope to cultivate a diverse learning environment.
Spark creativity
“We invite parents to enroll their kids and teenagers in any of our workshops to not only enhance their technical abilities but also deepen their appreciation for creativity and self-expression,” Raysag said.
Participants can explore digital artistry using iPads in courses like “Draw and Share on iPad” and “Calligraphy on iPad,” aimed at refining artistic skills while incorporating modern technology. For those interested in coding, workshops like “Code and Play with Hopscotch on iPad” provide a fun introduction to essential coding abilities.
Basecamp also offers Mac-based workshops such as “3D Art on Mac” and “Canva Graphics on Mac,” allowing students to delve deeper into digital design. For those preferring hands-on experiences, non-digital workshops like “Coffee Painting” and “3D Pen Magic” provide unique avenues for creative expression.
Courses are priced at P5,500 per student per course, with package deals available. Interested parents can register online, with slots allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Face-to-face classes are limited to 10 students per session, ensuring personalized attention and a conducive learning environment.
The Basecamp training center is located at 3/L Glorietta 5, Ayala Center, Makati City.
