realme Philippines has launched the realme 16T 5G, a midrange smartphone built around a large 8,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel Sony camera, and stronger protection against water, dust, and accidental drops.
realme 16T 5G has a suggested retail price starting at P22,999. However, launch discounts can bring the price down to as low as P15,731. It is also available through Home Credit for as low as P37 a day, making the device more accessible to buyers who prefer installment payments.
The 8,000mAh battery is designed to last up to two days on a single charge, depending on use. realme Philippines is also offering a seven-year battery health guarantee, under which the battery should retain at least 80% of its original capacity after seven years.
Its 45W fast charging can refill the battery from zero to 50% in 46 minutes. The phone also supports wired reverse charging, allowing it to supply power to another device, and bypass charging, which reduces strain on the battery while gaming with the phone plugged in.
For photography, the realme 16T 5G uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera. Its Vibe Master Mode applies a film-like appearance to photos, while Pro mode lets users adjust camera settings and capture RAW files for further editing.
The phone also includes AI-powered editing tools for removing unwanted objects, improving portraits, selecting better group photos, and creating short video clips.
Its IP69 Pro rating provides protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. The device also features ArmorShell protection and military-grade resistance against shocks.

The realme 16T 5G costs ₱22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model and ₱24,999 for the 8GB and 256GB version.
Customers who preorder from Aug. 28 to Sept. 3 and claim their phones from Sept. 4 to 15 can receive a Laifen SE Lite Hair Dryer, a privilege card with a six-month extended warranty and six months of screen damage protection, and a P2,000 discount.
Buyers purchasing from Sept. 4 to 15 can receive the privilege card and a P2,000 discount. Home Credit offers zero-interest installment plans of up to 18 months, starting at P37 a day. An additional P500 discount is available until Sept. 15 using the code REALME16T500.
