Mobile services provider Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) is offering 50% off Smart Home WiFi Postpaid plans for the first four months as it expands the service to more than 100 Smart Stores nationwide, making it easier for more Filipinos to sign up for home internet without waiting for a fiber line to be installed.
The promo runs until Aug. 31, 2026, and is available to new Smart Home WiFi Postpaid subscribers and existing Home Plan 999 customers upgrading to Home Plan 1499.
The expansion covers Smart Stores in North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, the National Capital Region (NCR), the Visayas, and Mindanao. According to Smart, the service is now available to more than 1.3 million households across about 3,200 barangays.
Customers can visit a Smart Store to check if 5G service is available in their area, apply for a plan, and bring home a plug-and-play modem on the same day.
Unlike fiber broadband, Smart Home WiFi Postpaid uses Smart’s 5G network, so there is no need for cable installation. The service is designed for households looking for a faster way to get internet for work, online classes, streaming, gaming, and everyday use.
Smart offers two plans. Home Plan 1499 includes unlimited 5G data and a free modem that can connect multiple devices. Home Plan 999 comes with 200 GB of 5G data, a daily 2 GB bonus, and data rollover for unused monthly data. Subscribers to this plan pay a one-time modem fee of P995.
During the promo period, Home Plan 999 costs P499.50 a month instead of P999, while Home Plan 1499 costs P749.50 instead of ₱1,499. Regular monthly rates will apply after the first four months.
Both plans come with a 24-month contract, Smart Perks, and GigaPoints rewards. Customers can also buy additional data through the Smart App or Smart Online Store if needed.
Customers can check if their address is covered by Smart’s 5G network before signing up. The company also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, allowing subscribers to return the modem if they cannot get a 5G signal at home.
