Sophos, a cybersecurity solutions provider, has integrated its Sophos Endpoint technology into all Taegis Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and Taegis Managed Detection and Response (MDR) subscriptions.

The integration gives customers access to prevention, detection, and response capabilities in one platform, while lowering costs and easing management. The move comes after Sophos acquired Secureworks in February 2025.

“This integration expands the value and flexibility we deliver to customers and partners,” said Chris Bell, SVP of Global Channel, Alliances and Corporate Development at Sophos. “By including Sophos Endpoint in Taegis, organizations gain stronger protection, reduced costs and simplified operations. For partners, it creates new opportunities to help customers consolidate tools, drive renewals and expand enterprise relationships.”

The integration also supports automated defenses, such as ransomware protection and adversary mitigation, that activate during an attack. These capabilities can help organizations react faster to threats and improve their overall security posture.

Taegis remains an open platform, allowing customers to use Sophos Endpoint or keep their existing endpoint solutions. This approach preserves previous investments in cybersecurity tools while providing flexibility for future decisions.

Customers can choose from three deployment options: Sophos Endpoint for full integration, non-Sophos products like CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender with telemetry ingestion, or other endpoint tools supported in a detection-only setup.
