Ticketing startup Ticket2Me has broken the P5-million ticket sales barrier after only going live in late-May 2018. This milestone was driven by strong ticket demand for events by its partners, show producers, and workshop providers.

To date, Ticket2Me has supplied paperless ticketing, payment services, and audience analytics for event producers who have collectively loaded over 900 events on the platform. Ticket2Me boasts of a varied array of events, including concerts, musical and improvisational theater, personal and professional growth workshops, culinary adventures, and many others.

“Hitting the five million ticket sales mark just six months after we launched our platform is proof that the Philippine market is both hungry and ready for event ticketing innovation,” said founder and CEO Darwin Mariano. “It shows Ticket2Me’s excellent product-market fit and amazing execution.”

Ticket2Me has recently opened its Singapore office which serves as its regional base. As part of its 2019 expansion plans, it has set its sights on Jakarta and Bali, in an effort to increase its presence to major cities across three pilot countries in the region. Ticket2Me is also simultaneously raising capital to fund its expansion plans. Ticket2Me has not disclosed the amounts investors have already committed to date.

Ticket2Me offers event organizers and ticket buyers the country’s first fully digital ticketing and event technology solution. With more than 9,000 payment outlets, Ticket2Me is also the most convenient and most accessible ticketing platform in the Philippines.
