“Brawl Stars,” the popular mobile game, is teaming up with Pixar’s “Toy Story” for a special event this holiday season. From Dec. 12 to Feb. 5, players can step into Starr Park and experience a range of Toy Story-themed content, including new game modes, exclusive character skins, and a playable Buzz Lightyear.
Buzz Lightyear becomes the first-ever character from outside the Brawl Stars universe to join the roster. Players can battle with Buzz in three unique modes inspired by his movie moments: laser, wing, and saber. Selected Brawlers, such as Colt, Bibi, and Jessie, will also get a Toy Story-inspired makeover with skins resembling Woody, Bo Peep, and Jessie.
“Toy Story is the ideal collab for us, as the theme of teamwork and creating connections with others is at the core of Brawl Stars,” said Frank Keienburg, general manager of Brawl Stars. “It’s awesome to team up with Disney and Pixar and especially cool to drop Buzz Lightyear as our first-ever playable character who is not part of the Brawl Stars universe.”
From Jan. 2, players can visit the Pizza Planet Arcade, a pop-up inside Starr Park inspired by the iconic Toy Story venue. Players can collect Pizza Slices through three temporary gameplay modes and exchange them for themed items, such as pins, icons, or even a new Brawler.
“We’re always looking for new and surprising ways to bring our characters to players,” said Luigi Priore, VP and GM of Disney & Pixar Games. “Toy Story fans are in for an extra treat when they jump into the action-packed fun in Pizza Planet Arcade.”
Brawl Stars is available on iOS and Android for those looking to join Buzz Lightyear and friends this holiday season.
