Twitter hopes to create a safer online experience

Following efforts to keep the platform a healthy venue for conversation, Twitter is calling upon people to join together to make the internet a safer and better place for all, especially for young people. The social media platform revisited and realigned its policies according to its beliefs and commitment.

On Safer Internet Day (Feb. 8, 2022), the social media platform continues its call to make the internet a better place and make better use of the technology to pursue a space conducive not only for adults but also for the young as well.

For its Safety and Health efforts, Twitter reported that it has launched the one-time content warnings globally to be added as warnings for sensitive content on their timelines. Sensitive content can be unsettling when someone encounters it without prior warnings.
