The vivo X300 Series introduces a new file-sharing feature that allows users to send photos and files directly between Android phones and iPhones using a single tap.

The feature, called One-Tap Transfer, comes with OriginOS 6 and is designed to simplify sharing between devices that use different operating systems. It uses near-field communication, or NFC, to move files directly from one phone to another without cables, cloud storage, or messaging apps.

To use One-Tap Transfer, iPhone users need to install vivo’s EasyShare app. The feature works on iPhone 12 and newer models running iOS 17 or later. Once set up, users can send selected photos or files by tapping the two devices together at their NFC areas.

  • From vivo to iPhone
    • Long-press to select photos or files on the vivo phone
    • Tap the vivo phone and the iPhone together using NFC
    • Accept the transfer on the iPhone
  • From iPhone to vivo
    • Share files through the iPhone Photos app, or
    • Send files directly using the EasyShare app
    • Use EasyShare for Live Photos to keep them in their original format

The company said the feature is meant to address common issues faced by users when sharing files across Android and iOS devices. Photos sent through messaging apps are often compressed, while cloud-based sharing can require extra steps such as uploads and downloads.

With One-Tap Transfer, files are sent directly and kept at their original quality, according to vivo. The process is intended to be quick and simple, especially during events where people take and share many photos, such as holidays and family gatherings.

The vivo X300 Series is available in the Philippines starting at ₱67,999. It is sold at vivo concept stores nationwide and through the vivo e-store and Shopee.
