VST ECS, a leading ICT distributor in the Philippines, has signed a new regional distribution agreement with Broadcom for VMware solutions covering Asean and China.
The VST ECS group of companies will continue to serve channels in the regions where they were a VMware distributor before Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware. In the Philippines, VSTECS has been distributing VMware since 2007.

VST ECS and its partners will assist Broadcom in promoting VMware’s private cloud infrastructure and transitioning VMware’s customer base to a subscription license model for its software. VST ECS will use its expertise in VMware’s go-to-market strategy to empower local channel partners and ensure customers maximize their investment in VMware software.
The agreement allows VST ECS to deliver VMware’s full solution portfolio, including new offerings like VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF), VMware vSphere Standard, and VMware vSphere Essentials Plus Kit. They will also offer add-ons such as VMware vSAN and VMware Live Recovery.
Technical support
VST ECS will provide technical support for select products and customers, offering localized expertise in customers’ preferred language and time zone. This service, an extension of Broadcom support, aims to enhance the commercial customer experience through improved accessibility, specialized knowledge, and personalized assistance.
