Xiaomi announced the return of its Mi Note series with Mi Note 10, the latest device of its premium flagship lineup. It boasts of what is considered “the world’s 108-megapixel (MP) Penta camera setup” and 5260mAh battery.
“After our successful launch of the Philippines’ first 64MP smartphone camera, we’re excited to announce that Filipino Mi fans can now shoot epic photos using the world’s first 108MP Penta camera smartphone, the Mi Note 10,” said Steven Shi, Xiaomi’s head of Southeast Asia. “The Mi Note 10 delivers excellent shooting capabilities and performance so Mi fans can always dream big.”
Xiaomi’s Mi Note 10 encompasses five different lenses: a 108MP wide-angle lens, 5MP telephoto lens, 12MP telephoto lens, 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a macro lens. This setup enables a seamless zoom experience from 0.6x to 50x without compromising image quality.

With the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP sensor, Mi Note 10 features the highest resolution of any smartphone in the market: 12032 x 9024. The device offers a 1/1.33-inch large image sensor that supports 4-in-1 pixel binning to capture more detail in low-light conditions, while the 4-axis OIS enables unmatched clarity.
Mi Note 10 is equipped with a 12MP 2x telephoto lens at 50mm focal length. Under low-light conditions, the 1.4μm large pixel size and dual PD autofocus allow for sharper and brighter portraits. The 5MP 5x telephoto lens is also capable of 10x hybrid and 50x digital zoom to complete the epic zoom range. In addition, the lens is equipped with OIS and an f/2.0 aperture for better images under non-optimal lighting environments. With its 117 degrees field of view, the 20MP ultra-wide angle lets users capture epic landscapes and large group photos without having to cut people out; while the macro lens offers autofocus for closeups images.
Mi Note 10’s rear camera setup supports all-new Night Mode 2.0 which allows for greater light capture and combines multiple shots of the same scene for increased versatility. Concert-goers and night photographers will be thrilled with the RAW multi-frame noise reduction.
Mi Note 10 also offers ShootSteady video technology for smooth and steady video experience, along with 960 frames-per-second macro slow-motion video and 4K video with the ultra-wide-angle. Users can leverage Vlog mode to easily create stylish and engaging videos with seven different cinematic effects.
Aside from the powerful Penta rear camera setup, Mi Note 10 also features a 32MP front camera, which offers AI beautify, AI portrait selfies, AI scene detection, and AI face unlock, panorama selfie, and palm shutter feature for amazing selfies.
For those looking for an ultimate photography experience, Xiaomi also offers Mi Note 10 Pro with an 8-piece lens on the primary camera and a large 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The 8- piece lens delivers images that look clearer and sharper. This variant will be offered at a later date.
Mi Note 10 is now available at Mi authorized stores and Mi Zones. Online shoppers can purchase it from Lazada on Dec. 12.
