Xiaomi has launched the REDMI Note 15 Series, introducing four smartphones designed for everyday users who want durable devices with improved cameras and long battery life. The lineup includes the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 15 5G, and REDMI Note 15.

Xiaomi said the REDMI Note 15 Series, a fan-favorite brand, is built around what it calls REDMI Titan Durability, a design approach meant to help the devices handle daily wear and accidents.

All models in the series are designed to withstand drops, pressure, dust, and water exposure to varying degrees.

The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G have passed SGS Premium Performance Certification, which tests resistance to drops, bending, and crushing. These models use reinforced internal structures and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the display. Xiaomi said the Pro+ version also uses a fiberglass back panel to absorb impact.

For water and dust resistance, the Pro models meet IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K standards. Xiaomi said these phones can survive water immersion of up to two meters for 24 hours. Other models in the lineup also offer improved splash and dust resistance for daily use. All devices support Wet Touch 2.0, which allows the screen to respond even when wet.

Battery life is one of the notable upgrades across the series, with Xiaomi introducing silicon-carbon battery technology to improve energy density.

Battery highlights across the series include:

  • Large-capacity batteries ranging from 5,520mAh to 6,500mAh
  • Support for fast charging, up to 100W on the Pro+ model
  • Reverse charging support on all models
  • Battery health designed to retain at least 80% capacity after around six years of typical use

Camera

Xiaomi has also focused on camera improvements, especially for the Pro models.

The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G feature a 200MP main camera using a new high-resolution sensor. Xiaomi said this allows clearer photos, better zoom options, and improved performance in low light. These models support multiple focal lengths using a single lens, covering wide, standard, and portrait shots.

The REDMI Note 15 5G and REDMI Note 15 use a 108MP main camera system, which Xiaomi said is designed to deliver clear photos for everyday use.

AI-based features across the lineup include tools for portrait enhancement, motion effects, reflection removal, and basic photo editing.

Performance and display

The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and includes an advanced cooling system designed to manage heat during gaming or heavy use. Other models use a mix of Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets.

All devices support Google Gemini and Circle to Search with Google. The Pro+ model also includes additional AI features under Xiaomi HyperAI.

Display sizes range from 6.77 inches to 6.83 inches, with high brightness levels and eye-care certifications. Xiaomi said the screens are designed for comfortable viewing in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Specs:

  • Displays up to 6.83 inches with high brightness
  • Stereo speakers with up to 400% volume boost on Pro models
  • 5G connectivity across the lineup
  • Improved cooling and performance tuning
