11th PropertyGuru Philippines recognizes innovative developers in the country

Diverse developers nationwide were honored at the 11th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, held at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, on Sept. 22, 2023.

Robinsons Land, a two-time best developer winner, was recognized for its innovative projects that helped shape the Philippine property landscape.

The 11th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, presented by Kohler and supported by Boysen Paints and Dongpeng Ceramic, celebrated the country’s top real estate projects. This gala event brought together accomplished and emerging developers and industry leaders. A total of 71 winners were recognized across 65 categories, representing outstanding real estate in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Robinsons Land was named the Best Developer in the Philippines for the second consecutive year and also received the Best Developer (Visayas) title. The company was awarded a Special Recognition in ESG. RLC Residences was honored as the Best Lifestyle Developer.

Robinsons Hotels and Resorts earned the Best Operational Hospitality Portfolio award, with Fili Hotel Cebu receiving multiple wins. Robinsons Offices was recognized for their office developments GBF Centers 1 & 2 and Cybergate Iloilo Towers 1 & 2. Aurelia Residences, a project by Shang Robinsons Properties, Inc., won the prestigious Best Condo Development (Philippines) award.

Federal Land Inc. received the titles of Best Developer (Luzon) and Best Mixed Use Developer for The Grand Midori Ortigas development. Subsidiaries of Federal Land, Inc., Sunshine Fort North Bonifacio Realty Development Corp., and North Bonifacio Landmark Realty and Development Inc., also received awards for their respective projects.

ESG

Cebu Landmasters, Inc. was recognized as the Best Developer (Mindanao) and received various awards for their projects in Bacolod, Danao, Iloilo, Panglao, and DGT City Center.

Jose R. Soberano III, Chairman, President, and CEO of Cebu Landmasters, Inc., was named the Philippines Real Estate Personality of the Year.

The Rising Star award was presented to Kyle Tan, president and CEO of Eton Properties, and Lucio Tan III, Director of LT Group, Inc.

Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates received the Best Industrial Developer award and Special Recognition in ESG and Sustainable Design and Construction. They also won awards for their LIMA Central Business District, LIMA Estate, and West Cebu Estate projects. Aboitiz Land Inc. was honored with the Best Housing Development (Philippines) award for Seafront Residences, as well as awards for Ajoya Cabanatuan and The Villages at Lipa.

Primary Homes Inc. was recognized as the Best Sustainable Developer for their Royal Oceancrest Mactan project and received a Special Recognition in Sustainable Design and Construction.

Torre Lorenzo Development Corp., known for their projects 3Torre Lorenzo and lyf Malate Manila, was named Best Boutique Developer.

SM Development Corp. (SMDC) received Special Recognition in ESG and was recognized for various projects including Bloom Residences, Glam Residences, Light 2 Residences, and Sands Residences.

The awardees were selected by an independent panel of expert judges, and fairness, transparency, and credibility were upheld throughout the selection process.

Country winners

The main country winners will advance to the 18th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final in Bangkok, Thailand, where they will compete with peers from across Southeast Asia, including China, Japan, India, and Australia.
