Sony designed both models with the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) to produce high-quality sound. The headphones are also built with a Multipoint connection for easy connectivity between devices. Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine restores the high-frequency elements usually lost when original music is compressed.

Leveraging Sony’s Integrated Processor V1 chip, which eliminates external sound, the company incorporated Dual Noise Sensor technology to achieve a true noise-canceling feature. The Dual Noise Sensor technology also enables the headphones to capture ambient sound. The WH-CH720N also features two microphones in each earcup.
