Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group, announced it will invest more than $60 million in the next fiscal year to strengthen its partner network and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
The company said the investment will go toward joint marketing efforts, incentive rebates, and training programs to help both Alibaba Cloud and its partners grow.
“By equipping our partners with advanced resources, dedicated incentives, and direct access to our cutting-edge AI technologies like our Qwen large language models, we are not just building a channel,” said Raymond Ma, VP of Global Partners and Alliances at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. “Together, we are fostering a synergistic ecosystem that will accelerate digital transformation and unlock new possibilities for businesses globally in the AI era.”
Alibaba Cloud works with around 12,000 partners worldwide, including major names such as Salesforce, Fortinet, IBM, and Neo4j. The investment is expected to help partners reach more customers, improve technical skills, and support the wider use of cloud and AI services in industries around the world.
As part of the initiative, Alibaba Cloud also announced several new and expanded partnerships:
Dify, a platform for developing agent-based AI applications, will bring its Dify Enterprise product to Alibaba Cloud’s global marketplace. This will combine Dify’s AI orchestration tools with Alibaba Cloud’s infrastructure and Model Studio generative AI platform.
Squirro, which provides AI-powered search and automation for enterprises, will offer its low-code generative AI platform on Alibaba Cloud, starting in Asia Pacific. This will help businesses in financial services, manufacturing, and retail improve decision-making with AI.
PingCAP is making its TiDB distributed SQL database available on Alibaba Cloud. The AI-ready database supports real-time analytics and transactional workloads, with features like serverless elasticity and vector search.
IT services firm Atos expanded its role from managed service provider to global reseller of Alibaba Cloud solutions, while Crayon appointed its Singapore and Philippines branches as regional resellers to help partners in Southeast Asia adopt cloud and AI technologies.
