Fast-food chain Andok’s has returned to food app foodpanda after eight years, with the delivery platform adding one of the Philippines’ most searched unavailable brands to its growing list of merchants.
The return of the “Pambansang Litson Manok” shows how food delivery platforms are expanding beyond convenience by bringing familiar household names closer to customers who already have strong brand preferences.
Despite being unavailable on foodpanda for years, Andok’s remained among the platform’s most searched merchants, with customers repeatedly looking for the brand through the app. The demand eventually led to the partnership, which now gives users access to Andok’s bestsellers, including litson manok, liempo, Dokito meals, and other favorites.
The relaunch was marked through Pista ng Sarap, a campaign celebrating Filipino food traditions and everyday dining moments. The partnership also supports foodpanda’s efforts to expand its merchant network by adding more well-known brands that can drive customer engagement and ordering frequency.
“At foodpanda, we’re always looking for ways to bring customers closer to the brands and meals they love. The excitement surrounding Andok’s launch reflects the strong connection Filipinos have with familiar food favorites, and we’re happy to make those everyday cravings more accessible through the platform,” said Patricia Jacinto, director for Marketing and Growth at foodpanda Philippines.
For Andok’s, the move allows the brand to reach customers through a platform that fits changing lifestyles, as more Filipinos turn to digital ordering for everyday meals and family occasions.
“As modern lifestyles keep Filipinos busier than ever, the partnership bridges the gap between nostalgic comfort and modern convenience,” said Maverick Leonardo Javier, president of Andok’s Litson Corp. “By integrating a beloved household name into foodpanda’s nationwide network, satisfying a sudden craving for familiar favorites is now just a few taps away.”
