Ant International, a global digital payment and financial technology provider, has launched Alipay+ GenAI Cockpit, a new platform designed to help fintech companies and super apps build AI-driven financial services.

The AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) platform aims to make financial services more efficient, secure, and adaptable by helping businesses adopt agentic and AI-native systems. It supports various functions, including customer onboarding, payment processing, compliance checks, fraud detection, and dispute resolution.

“The future of finance will be shaped by agentic AI that not only carries out tasks autonomously in real automated workflows and sophisticated financial business and compliance context with reliability, but also interacts, evolves, and learns rapidly in orchestration with ever-growing precision,” said Jiangming Yang, chief innovation officer of Ant International.

Alipay+ GenAI Cockpit has already been tested within Ant International’s key business units, including Alipay+, Antom, WorldFirst, and embedded finance solutions. It will be officially rolled out to fintech clients in Southeast and South Asia by June 2025.

To address growing concerns about AI-enabled fraud, Ant International is investing in tools to manage AI-related risks. These include its AI SHIELD framework, which monitors potential threats across the entire system, from model training to real-time use. This system uses over 100 recognition models and 600,000 risk lexicons to detect prompt attacks, data leaks, and more. The company reports that fraud loss in its merchant payment service is only 5% of the industry average.

Ready-to-use agents

The GenAI Cockpit also makes use of more than 20 large language models (LLMs), including Ant’s own Falcon Time-Series-Transformer FX Model. These are supported by fintech-specific knowledge bases to improve accuracy in areas such as bank transfers and dispute policies.

The platform includes tools for model tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and benchmarking against industry datasets.

The Cockpit comes with ready-to-use agents for customer service, targeted marketing, and AI-assisted coding. Businesses can also build specialized agents for tasks such as travel advice, tax refunds, and cross-border transactions.

Built using the platform, Antom Copilot helps merchants streamline payment setup, fix common issues, and manage risk strategies using natural language.
