Onion Bulb Productions (OBP) has launched a captivating new campaign “Out of this World,” displayed on a massive 400-meter 3D billboard in BGC. The ad features two astronauts floating in space, symbolizing the potential for brands to explore new ways of engaging with their audiences.

Located on 5th Avenue, BGC, the 3D billboard captures attention with its lifelike astronauts, drawing in crowds who take photos and videos to share on social media. OBP, known for its innovative advertising, aims to showcase the potential of 3D technology in creating memorable marketing experiences.

Tak Manabat, creative director of OBP, explained that while the technology and tools for 3D creation remain the same, this campaign focused heavily on understanding the demographics and interests of people visiting the area. The result is a visually striking, simplified display that emphasizes the astronauts’ movements.

“We kept the content minimal to highlight the astronauts,” said Manabat, adding that OBP applied a “less is more” approach for maximum impact.

Michiko Tañedo, executive producer of OBP, added that the campaign showcases the possibilities of 3D billboards in today’s “attention economy,” where dynamic, engaging content is essential for capturing audiences and driving business growth. OBP hopes this campaign will encourage more brands to invest in innovative advertising technologies like 3D billboards to stand out in a crowded market. Industry data shows that companies adopting such technologies often see increased revenue.
