Beeinfotech Philippines has officially opened the HIVE Hybrid Data Center, a $150-million facility designed to support digital transformation efforts across the country. The data center is telco-neutral, meaning it can connect with different telecommunications providers, and aims to boost the country’s progress toward becoming a smart nation.
“We’re building the digital infrastructure where data and computers come together to empower the sustainable digital economy,” said Wing Cheung, president and CEO of Beeinfotech Philippines.
Cheung emphasized HIVE’s eight key advantages: business continuity and reliability, scalability and flexibility, accessibility and convenience, standard and customized services, security and compliance, sustainability and green operations, carrier neutrality, and a team with industry experience.

Providing access to data services
The HIVE facility is expected to help businesses across sectors adopt digital solutions more easily. By improving infrastructure and access to data services, the center supports the country’s goal of becoming a stronger digital economy in Southeast Asia.
ZTE Corporation, a technology partner in the project, helped develop the data center from the ground up—handling construction planning, consulting, solution design, and final project delivery.
