Drivers looking to install their Easytrip RFID can now book an appointment directly through the MPT DriveHub app, cutting down on waiting time and making the process more convenient.
Easytrip’s Online RFID Registration & Appointment System (ORRAS) is now part of the MPT DriveHub app, letting motorists schedule installations with just a few taps. Whether applying for a new RFID or replacing an old one, users can now do it all from their mobile phone.
To book an appointment, users need to:
- Open the MPT DriveHub app and select ‘ORRAS Appointment’ under RFID services.
- Pick a registered vehicle or add a new one.
- Choose the nearest installation site, select a date and time, and confirm the booking.
- Receive a QR code through the app, which must be shown at the installation site.
To avoid delays, motorists should bring their QR code, official receipt, and certificate of registration. For secondhand cars, a Deed of Sale may be required. If the QR code isn’t saved, users can find it in the email linked to their MPT DriveHub account.
Easy-to-use RFID installation
This update is part of MPT Mobility’s goal to improve the travel experience on expressways. MPT DriveHub already offers real-time traffic updates, toll payments, and RFID reloads. The new feature brings RFID installation into the same easy-to-use system.
For now, ORRAS supports Easytrip RFID installations. A similar setup for CCLEX RFID users is expected to be added to the app soon.
