AI-driven automation provider Boomi said enterprises are increasingly adopting its artificial intelligence (AI) activation platform as companies shift from testing AI tools to deploying them in business operations.

Boomi said it now serves more than 30,000 customers worldwide, including over a quarter of Fortune 500 companies. The firm said organizations use its runtime architecture to support critical business functions, including more than 75,000 AI agents running in production and handling transactions worth billions of dollars.

“Organizations are moving beyond AI experimentation and turning to Boomi to help them operationalize AI at enterprise scale,” said Steve Lucas, chair and CEO of Boomi. “That momentum is reflected in our customer growth, where we have expanded our customer base by 50% in just over three years.”

The company expanded its platform through the acquisition of data integration provider Rivery and managed file transfer firm Thru Inc. Boomi said the additions help support real-time data processing and secure file transfers for large workloads, allowing customers to use the platform in more enterprise scenarios.

The company also introduced several platform updates in 2025 to support AI adoption across hybrid technology environments. One of these is Boomi Agentstudio, the company’s agent management platform. The company said the platform helps businesses deploy and manage AI agents with built-in governance tools. Partners have also released agent workflow templates through the Boomi Marketplace to help organizations speed up deployment.

The company added new application programming interface (API) management features to help businesses securely publish and scale APIs alongside AI workflows. The company also expanded support for Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows AI agents to respond using broader data context. Additional tools, including the Data Hub Command Center, were introduced to strengthen data monitoring and governance.

The company said integrating Rivery, now called Boomi Data Integration, allows customers to combine operational and analytics data. The addition of Thru Inc. expanded managed file transfer services, which the company said increased customer adoption by more than 270%.
