Canon has introduced three new products specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to address their printing needs. The products include the imagePROGRAF TC-20M, a large format printer; the R40, a document scanner; and the iR 2224N, a multi-function device.

The imagePROGRAF TC-20M is a compact and space-saving printer that comes with a flatbed scanner. It allows users to easily copy and enlarge documents from A4 size to larger formats like A3, A2, or A1. The printer also supports various applications such as creating wrapping paper or retail store banners. It can also scale A4 leaflets and handwritten manuscripts into large posters for travel agencies or food and beverage outlets.

The TC-20M is equipped with the latest firmware and supports direct printing and scanning of JPEG and PDF files from a USB memory stick. It can fit into tight spaces and is suitable for remote worksites, small offices, and retail outlets. The printer features front access for convenient daily operations like paper loading, ink refilling, and maintenance cartridge replacement. It supports roll paper up to A1 width and has an auto sheet feeder for A3 or A4 cut sheets, allowing for copying, scanning, and printing in a single machine.

Software upgrade

To enhance productivity, the TC-20M comes with 70 ml ink bottles for continuous printing. It reduces ink refilling time and effort with its large ink tank capacity. The printer can produce vibrant red colors commonly used in technical drawings, graphics, and flyers. It also offers the option to collect and hold large format prints and long banners with an additional desktop basket.

Canon has also upgraded its PosterArtist software, which now supports two-sided printing and variable printing function. Users can customize text data and create brochures, booklets, certificates, event invites, and more. The software provides a wide range of design templates for flyers, food menus, marketing collaterals, calendars, and photo collages.

The R40 is a user-friendly scanner that enables quick scanning and conversion of documents into searchable digital formats. It offers a single-button operation and supports up to nine shortcuts for faster and more efficient scanning. With a speed of 40 pages per minute, the R40 delivers high-quality scans for both sides of documents. It supports scanning a variety of document types with its precise feeding roller and automatic document feeder that can hold up to 60 sheets of paper.

The imageRUNNER 2224N is a multi-function device designed to optimize office document workflows. It provides fast, high-quality output and enhanced business efficiency. With advanced security features, it ensures comprehensive protection for devices, data, and networks. The device offers wide media support, large paper input capacity, and various connectivity options for an optimized office setup. It is highly reliable and can perform flawlessly even in challenging work environments.
