The C4050 features Epson’s PrecisionCore TFP Printhead technology, which delivers higher print quality and efficiency compared to its predecessor, the C3510. It can print high-resolution images up to 1200 x 1200 dpi and has a spot color matching function for accurate label details. The printer also reduces labeling costs with paper-saving and ink-saving features.
To prolong the printhead’s lifespan, the C4050 has an Auto Head Maintenance feature that checks and cleans the printhead nozzles when needed. It offers different print modes for media compatibility and uses DURABrite Ultra Pigment premium water-resistant ink, along with Matte Black or Gloss Black ink cartridges, for vibrant color labels.
Printer compatibility with other devices
The C4050 supports printing on various inkjet label substrates, including high-gloss, matte, and synthetic materials. It can handle both roll labels and folded labels. It offers Wi-Fi connectivity via a separate dongle accessory, making it convenient for businesses with a mobile workforce. The printer is also BS5609 certified for GHS compliance, making it suitable for the chemical market.
The C4050 is compatible with Mac and Linux systems and supports middleware such as BarTender, NiceLabel, and CodeSoft. It has higher capacity ink cartridges, reducing ink wastage and increasing print volumes.
Designed for ease of use, the C4050 has a compact footprint and is easy to maintain. It has features like Epson’s Web Configuration support and Device Admin support for maintenance. The printer also includes a 2.7″ Color LCD for improved visibility during operation.
