Micro-financial services company Cebuana Lhuillier teamed up with insurance firm AXA Philippines and international cooperation services firm GIZ in unveiling its newest microinsurance product, the MicroBiz Protek Jr., which will insure microenterprises against natural calamities

The MicroBiz Protek Jr. product will help micro-enterprises to feel more secure knowing that their small businesses are insured and protected for such an affordable price. When microenterprise owners avail themselves of the MicroBiz Protek Jr. product, they get protection for their business through cash assistance when their property is damaged due to fire, lightning, typhoon, flood, or earthquakes as well as coverage for burglary and robbery.

Micro-enterprises can also get Accident Insurance for any death or disablement due to accidents. Added to this coverage is an emergency assistance access as provided by the Emma by AXA PH mobile app where users can get free access to ambulance, roadside, fire, and police assistance, among other benefits.
