Cybersecurity solutions firm CrowdStrike has appointed Jonathon Dixon as vice president and managing director for the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC), tasking him to help drive artificial intelligence (AI)-powered cybersecurity adoption across the region.
Dixon will focus on expanding the use of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform and supporting organizations as they strengthen their cybersecurity programs amid evolving digital threats.
Dixon brings more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and information technology leadership. He most recently served as vice president and managing director of Japan and Asia-Pacific at Verkada, where he led go-to-market and operational teams and expanded the company’s presence across the region.
Before joining Verkada, Dixon served as vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China at Cloudflare. The region became the company’s fastest-growing theater during his leadership. Earlier in his career, Dixon held leadership roles at global technology firms AWS, Cisco, and IBM, managing multi-billion-dollar regional business segments and driving revenue growth through channel development and go-to-market strategies.
“Jonathan brings a rare mix of regional insight and experience scaling businesses, which will be critical to our continued growth in the region,” said Michael Sentonas, president of CrowdStrike. “JAPAC is an important growth theater as organizations modernize their security for the AI era. Under Jonathon’s leadership, we will continue to expand our presence across the region and support more organizations in strengthening their security posture, as traditional approaches struggle to keep pace with today’s threat landscape.”
“CrowdStrike is leading cybersecurity in the AI era, delivering the game-changing technology that organizations throughout JAPAC need to secure a rapidly evolving threat landscape,” said Dixon. “I am thrilled to be joining CrowdStrike as the company continues to revolutionize cybersecurity and define AI-native platform protection.”
