Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. has appointed Rafael “Peng” Pleno as director of Business Imaging Solutions, succeeding Kenichiro Kitamura, who has moved to Canon Inc.
Pleno will oversee the Business Imaging Solutions unit, which handles managed print services, production printing, and digital workflow tools used by companies in sectors such as banking, insurance, utilities, and manufacturing.
“I am excited to lead the Business Imaging Solutions team at such an important time for Philippine businesses,” Pleno said. “My focus is on leveraging Canon’s technology and expertise to drive innovation, simplify workflows, and help organizations achieve measurable improvements in growth and efficiency.”
Pleno has more than 20 years of experience in managed print services, digital transformation, and production printing. He has worked with organizations across multiple industries, helping them adopt technology to improve daily operations.
Before joining Canon Philippines, Pleno was a full-time consultant for one of the country’s largest technology companies. In that role, he helped build a services portfolio focused on Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) and Managed Print Services (MPS).
He also previously led Philippine operations for a Singapore-based software-as-a-service company, where he expanded the business through channel partners and new markets. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he supported projects related to remote learning and workforce development.
Canon Marketing (Philippines) Inc. said the Business Imaging Solutions unit under Pleno will focus on expanding its business-to-business offerings and supporting companies as they shift to more digital and efficient ways of working.
