Tookitaki, the Singapore-headquartered financial-crime technology company, has announced the appointment of Isabel Ridad as CEO to lead its operations and expansion into new markets.

Founder Abhishek Chatterjee will become executive chair and chair of the board, focusing on overall direction, AI strategy, board management, and the company’s most important client and regulator relationships. The announcement sets Ridad’s transition for September.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Tookitaki as CEO and build on the foundation that Abhishek, Jeeta, and the wider team have created,” Ridad said. “My priority will be disciplined execution: serving our customers, supporting our teams and scaling the business. I look forward to working closely with Abhishek and the team as we take Tookitaki into this new chapter.”

Ridad’s background includes leadership roles in payments and business financing. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Executive Officer of Philippine fintech company PayMongo. Her LinkedIn profile also lists her as Chairman of the Board of Wise Philippines.

She also co-founded Monetiz3, a platform designed to help small and medium-sized businesses raise funds for expansion without giving up ownership. In a LinkedIn post, Ridad said she had worked with businesses seeking financing at PayMongo and helped large companies raise funds during her banking career.

Ridad currently leads Tookitaki’s expansion across Asia Pacific and beyond. She oversees growth, commercial operations, finance, and legal. Her appointment gives her full executive and operational responsibility for the business, formalizing the leadership role she has increasingly held.

Under Chatterjee’s leadership, Tookitaki expanded across Asia Pacific, working with banks and financial technology companies in multiple Asian markets. The company said it monitors more than 100 billion transactions and 200 million customer accounts.

Tookitaki combines its Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Ecosystem with FinCense, its AI-native platform, to help financial institutions spot emerging risks and respond sooner. Its technology supports anti-money laundering, fraud prevention, and customer risk assessment, checking whether customer activity could involve financial crime.

“Isabel already leads core parts of our business and brings the judgement, operating discipline and deep company knowledge Tookitaki needs as it scales,” Chatterjee said. “I look forward to focusing my time on overall direction, AI strategy, board management, and our most important client and regulator relationships — and to working closely with Isabel as she leads the business day to day.”
