Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy A18 and Galaxy A08, built with AI search tools and longer software support to its Galaxy A smartphone lineup. Both phones will receive up to six generations of operating system upgrades and six years of security updates.
The Galaxy A08 is now available in the Philippines starting at ₱11,190, while the Galaxy A18 is due in December 2026. The A08 features a 6,000mAh battery, while the A18 offers a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen and three rear cameras.
Both models support Circle to Search, which allows users to circle or tap items on their screen to find information without leaving the app. Samsung’s Find the Look feature is useful for searching for outfits, along with the ability to identify music playing nearby.
Users can access AI assistants Gemini or Perplexity through voice commands or a long press. According to Samsung, these tools can open supported apps and help carry out tasks across Samsung apps, Google apps, and selected third-party services.
