DHL Express Philippines, an express services provider, has confirmed that it will implement price adjustments beginning Jan. 1, 2025. Customers can expect an average rate hike of 5.9%.
“We are committed to delivering stable and dependable services globally despite the ongoing impact of geopolitical dynamics and supply chain disruptions on the logistics landscape,” Nigel Lockett, the country manager for DHL Express Philippines, said in a media advisory.
DHL adjusts its prices annually, taking into account factors such as inflation, currency fluctuations, and costs associated with regulatory and security measures. These measures are regularly updated by national and international authorities in over 220 countries and territories served by DHL Express. The company aims to ensure that it can continue to support its customers effectively, adapting its network as needed to meet external challenges.
Price adjustments can differ from one country to another based on local conditions, but, according to DHL, it aims to keep its services accessible and efficient for its customers in the Philippines and beyond.
