Telecommunications company Eastern Communications recently unveiled its “Experience Center,” a venue that showcases and offers its customers a first-hand experience of the various connectivity and ICT solutions designed to meet their needs.
“We want tangibles and experience the real-life use cases,” said Edsel Paglinawan, head of Product and Innovation, Eastern Communications. “That is why we launched the Eastern Experience Center. “With the challenges from the pandemic and the adoption of digital technologies for businesses, launching the Experience Center was an essential step for us to allow partners and customers to experience our personalized services and solutions, not just in blueprints, not in PowerPoints, not in video presentations. We aim to share the actual experience and benefits of our products with this high tech and high touch initiative,”
One of these highlighted solutions was Eastern Communications’ VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) powered by Kacific, a satellite operator providing high-speed broadband internet service for the Southeast Asia and Pacific Islands region. This solution was designed to quickly connect the most remote and isolated users with light and easily transportable satellite dishes.
Ultimately, the launch of VSAT will address the connectivity issues faced by businesses, local government units, and communities. During this launch, the full power of the VSAT was put on display via a product demo and through the glowing testimonials of its users.
“Through our partnership with Eastern Communications, Kacific aims to connect the unserved and underserved communities and businesses across the Philippines. The launch of the Experience Center will demonstrate the benefits of the satellite broadband products while introducing new solutions to address the growing demand of the rural customers,” said Kacific Sales Director Ferdinand Simbulan.
Eastern Experience Center is located at Easter Communications’ main office in Makati City.
