ePLDT, the ICT arm of PLDT, has partnered with Dell Technologies and Katonic AI to launch Pilipinas AI, a sovereign AI solutions stack designed for Philippine enterprises.

The initiative expands on ePLDT’s earlier rollout of GPU-as-a-Service, which gave companies access to high-performance computing through NVIDIA-powered GPU servers. Pilipinas AI adds a full GPU management platform and an AI orchestration layer, developed with Dell Technologies and Katonic AI.

“By working with trusted, world-class tech partners, we are putting the right foundation in place for Philippine enterprises to embrace AI with confidence,” said Victor Genuino, president and CEO of ePLDT and VITRO Inc. “Pilipinas AI gives them access to computing power and advanced tools that help accelerate adoption, streamline operations, and drive innovation at scale.”

The platform allows organizations to use AI without the cost and difficulty of building and maintaining their own infrastructure. It aims to reduce challenges such as integration issues and the lack of AI talent in the market.

Pilipinas AI is hosted at VITRO Sta. Rosa, which ePLDT describes as the country’s first AI-ready hyperscale data center. By keeping data and workloads within Philippine borders, the solution is designed to improve performance, lower latency, and strengthen data security while supporting compliance with local data privacy rules.

The company said the solution can be applied in various industries, including banking, business process outsourcing, healthcare, public services, and education. Use cases include fraud detection, weather forecasting, customer support, and AI-assisted medical diagnostics.

“AI adoption is no longer a question of if, but when,” Genuino said. “With Pilipinas AI, we are making sure that when Philippine enterprises take that leap, they do so on solid ground, supported by secure infrastructure, trusted partners, and a vision for sustainable digital progress.”
