Genshin Impact, the popular action role-playing game, is hosting pop-up events across Southeast Asia and Australia from Jan. 3 to Jan. 19, 2025, to celebrate the release of Mavuika, the Pyro Archon. This marks the first time the game’s developer, HoYoverse, will hold an event in Cebu, Philippines.

Mavuika will debut as a playable character in Version 5.3, launched on Jan. 1, 2025. Fans can enjoy themed activities, exclusive items, and camaraderie with fellow “Travelers” at the pop-ups in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Australia.

Attendees can earn lucky draw tickets by participating in onsite activities or purchasing merchandise. These tickets offer a chance to win prizes, including a Mavuika-themed motorcycle, with one winner per country. Genshin Impact merchandise bundles will also be up for grabs.

To redeem lucky draw tickets, participants can complete activities at the booth or spend a minimum of ₱600 on merchandise. A maximum of five tickets can be claimed per day. Winners will be announced on Jan. 19 at the final event location in each country.

Fans can also enjoy activities that provide exclusive freebies, such as temporary body tattoos, scratch cards with in-game rewards like Primogems, and a set of red packets. These can be earned by subscribing to Genshin Impact’s official Messenger or newsletter, sharing posts with specific hashtags, or showing progress in the game.

The celebration highlights Natlan’s Archon and provides a unique chance for fans to connect and celebrate the game. For more information, visit Genshin Impact’s official social media channels.
