Globe at Home has launched limited-edition skins for its newest 5G WiFi device, blending technology with the visual arts by featuring works from some of the Philippines’ most celebrated National Artists.

Revealed during the “Art of Connection” event at a:museum, the country’s largest digital museum, the new 5G WiFi device — named the101 — now comes in two standard colors, Stone (White) and Blueberry, along with special designs inspired by iconic Filipino art.

The collection showcases “Birdman” by Vicente Manansala, “Pageant of Commerce” by Botong Francisco, “Barangay” by Larry Alcala, and “Marahuyo” by Imao x Imao.

“These limited-edition designs turn our 5G WiFi device into a work of art that our customers can proudly showcase in their homes,” said Abigail Cardino, head of Brand Management at Globe at Home. “By showcasing the works of National Artists, we are making connectivity not just seamless, but also inspiring.”

Developed with global tech company rainx, the101 offers fiber-like speeds through 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). The plug-and-play device skips traditional installation and is built for smooth video calls, gaming, and streaming — without the risks of cable damage or downtime.

Its user-friendly features include a scan-to-connect option that lets users join the network by scanning a QR code, one-tap support and SIM registration through the device’s screen, and geolocking for strong and stable internet performance. The device also comes with a seven-day money-back guarantee, allowing customers to try it risk-free.

The artist-designed router skins will be available beginning May 2025, giving users a chance to enjoy fast internet while supporting Filipino creativity.
