Telecommunications company Globe has expanded its 5G network in Davao City to improve mobile and broadband connectivity for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Globe has completed network rollouts in Catalunan Grande, Manambulan, Barangay 30-C, Barangay 15-B, Talomo, Lizada, Sto. Niño, and Ladislawa Buhangin. These sites are located in areas where the demand for mobile and internet services continues to grow.

According to Globe, the network expansion supports the city’s growing reliance on digital services for education, work, and commerce. With the upgrades, small businesses can handle online sales and social media activities more efficiently, while students and teachers can benefit from stable internet for e-learning and research. Families can also use online banking, healthcare, and government services with fewer interruptions.

Tourists and visitors to Davao City may also experience improved connectivity for navigation, digital payments, and content sharing.

“Globe’s strengthened 5G presence in Davao City allows customers to experience faster and more reliable connectivity,” the company said.
