Digital bank GoTyme Bank has emerged as the fastest-growing bank in the country, registering 3.7 million users since its launch in the last quarter of 2022. The bank is attracting over 250,000 new customers each month and has achieved a 600% year-on-year growth in monthly transactions.
GoTyme Bank, a collaboration between JG Summit and Singapore-based Tyme Group, has actively expanded its presence by opening kiosks in Robinsons establishments, simplifying the account opening process for potential clients.
At a recent media event introducing its new products and services, GoTyme Bank executives highlighted a significant milestone: deposits have surged to over P17 billion. The bank also introduced its new campaign, “Banking made beautiful,” which promises a seamless and easier banking experience.
“In the coming months, we hope you all enjoy our new, beautiful, products and features but even more so we hope you invite your friends and family to join you in the switch to beautiful banking,” said Nate Clarke, CEO of GoTyme Bank.
New products and services
Filipinos living abroad in 170 countries can now open a GoTyme Bank account using an international SIM. These accounts offer the same benefits as local accounts, including easy deposits through more remittance partners, unlimited free transfers between GoTyme Bank accounts, and three free weekly real-time transfers to other banks. Customers can also access bills payment services and enjoy no limits compared to e-wallets.

Customers can deposit checks using the GoTyme Bank app without visiting a bank. This feature allows for free, safe, and secure deposits of up to P499,999.99, including post-dated checks, with real-time updates and notifications on deposit status.
Users can now utilize their GoRewards points to purchase load and gaming credits. This feature simplifies transactions by allowing customers to enter the amount in PHP or GoRewards points.
As the first bank partner integrated with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ Coin Deposit Machines, GoTyme Bank enables customers to deposit their coins directly into their accounts, where the deposits earn 60 times more annual interest than the average savings account.
Raymund Villanueva, chief marketing officer of GoTyme Bank, emphasized the bank’s commitment to creating products and services that offer not just functionality but also an aesthetically pleasing experience.
