Digital bank GoTyme Bank said it has reached 10 million users just over three years after starting operations in the Philippines, with customer deposits growing to more than P53 billion.
The milestone indicates the growing use of digital banks among Filipinos, as more consumers turn to mobile apps for everyday banking instead of visiting physical branches.
“Reaching 10 million users is an important milestone on our journey to become the Philippines largest and most loved bank, but for us, it’s really about the trust that millions of Filipinos place in GoTyme Bank every day,” said Nate Clarke, CEO of GoTyme Bank. “We’re grateful to our customers for choosing us, and we’ll continue working to make banking simpler, more accessible, more affordable, and more beautiful for everyone.”
The bank said its Visa debit card was the most-used Visa debit card in the Philippines based on the digital payment processor’s 2025 active usage data. It has also kept InstaPay transfers free since it began operations, allowing customers to send money to other banks without paying transfer fees.
Although it operates as a digital bank, GoTyme has expanded its physical presence with more than 600 kiosks inside Robinsons Retail stores and SM Stores, where customers can open an account in about five minutes with assistance from Bank Ambassadors. Customers can also deposit and withdraw cash through Robinsons Retail checkout lanes and deposit cash at more than 4,500 7-Eleven stores nationwide.
GoTyme has also expanded its services beyond savings accounts. Customers can pay more than 160 billers, invest in Philippine stocks and cryptocurrency, and send money overseas through its partnership with Wise. Its lending platform, MoreTyme, has attracted more than 1 million early-access users by offering installment payments and cash loans.
The expansion comes as digital banks continue to compete by adding more financial services in one app, giving customers alternatives to traditional banks for payments, savings, investments, and borrowing.
Beyond savings accounts, the bank has expanded its services to include payments for more than 160 billers, cryptocurrency and Philippine stock investments, and international money transfers through its integration with Wise.
GoTyme is also growing its lending business through MoreTyme, which now has more than 1 million early-access users. The platform allows customers to pay purchases in installments using QRPh, Convert Purchases, and the MoreTyme Virtual Card, while Get Cash provides quick access to funds. The bank said the service uses transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
